Prey Pet Food
At Prey we are passionate about sharing with you the benefits of having your pets fed on an appropriate prey diet. A diet that they were designed to eat.
Lamb & Salmon Mix is a high-energy mince, perfect for working dogs, active breeds, and large breed puppies going through growth spurts. Designed to help maintain or increase body condition with nutrient-dense, highly palatable ingredients. This is not recommended as a complete meal or for smaller pets.
Feed your dog 2-3% of their body weight (or ideal body weight). Do not feed this mince alone; ensure variety by mixing with other lower-fat minces.
Feed at least 3 different prey species over a week to ensure a good variety of nutrients in your dog’s diet.
Feed alongside raw meaty bones and raw green tripe.
Defrost in a sealed container in the fridge overnight or in a bag submerged in warm water (not in the microwave).
Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, but fresh is best!
Feed all juices - they contain great nutrients!
Discard any uneaten raw food once your pet has finished their meal.
Use safe handling techniques. Clean all surfaces, equipment and hands with warm soapy water after handling or feeding.
Our lamb is sourced from New Zealand's human consumption food chain, while our salmon comes from Akaroa Salmon, who are committed to sustainable farming with low stocking densities, no GMOs, antibiotics, or hormones in feed.
