Chicken Necks are a soft, cartilage-based bone, perfect for small dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens! These are an excellent introductory bone for small animals new to raw feeding, providing great teeth-cleaning benefits. Cartilage is packed with glucosamine and chondroitin, which support healthy joints and mobility.

  • Roughage such as bone, hair, and cartilage provides prebiotic activity, feeding healthy gut bacteria for improved digestion and smaller, firmer stools.
  • Packed with glucosamine and chondroitin to support healthy joints.
  • Helps maintain shiny, clean teeth for small pets.

Directions

  • Choose appropriately sized bones: small enough to chew but not swallow whole. Ideal bones take 5–15 minutes to finish. Too small can pose choking risks and cause oral trauma.
  • Choose the right bone: Select raw meaty bones with plenty of meat or soft tissue to ensure dogs and cats can rip, tear, and chew for full benefit.

Safety Information

  • Defrost in a sealed container in the fridge overnight or in a bag submerged in warm water (not in the microwave).
  • Once defrosted, it can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, but fresh is best!
  • Discard any uneaten raw food once your pet has finished their meal.
  • Use safe handling techniques. Clean all surfaces, equipment and hands with warm soapy water after handling or feeding.
  • Never cook bones: Cooking makes bones brittle and prone to splintering, posing a serious danger.
  • Balanced diet: Raw meaty bones are not a complete diet—feed alongside minces, organs, and raw green tripe, incorporating a variety of prey sources for optimal nutrition.
  • Feed alongside raw green tripe: Feed tripe at ⅓ of the bone weight, adjusting as needed—every dog is unique!
  • Supervision required: Always monitor your pet while feeding bones to ensure safety.
